Hello,
I’m writing you to try to move forward on my choice of monitor and share my thoughts. I have a RTX 4090 and a i5 13600KF.
I still hesitate between 3 types of monitor:
- LG34GP850-B ultrawide
- a 32" 1440p like the LG32GP850 or Gigabyte M32Q
- a 32" 4k like the LG32GP950 for example
I understood the nice side of a 21:9 monitor for more vision on the sides. So nice for MFS and flat flying in DCS but in air combat I find you often need more vertical vision. I was able to see what it looked like in a store by watching DCS videos on a 32" 1440p and I think it's not bad and relatively immersive for the size (could not try on an ultrawide).
If I go with a 32", is it better to have a 1440p or a 4k in view of my config? In 2023 and in the current state of DCS, is 4k a plus on a 32"?
Thank you for your feedback!
