I don't think you're quite understanding what I am meaning...
Let me try to explain. I appreciate and understand that when you close your right eye and If you look thru the left, you will see the monocle as well.
What I am trying to say and show is that if you are looking thru your left eye, you should for example be looking at the left NVG tube correct? Or rather your eye should be directly below the left NVG tube... if you look closely at the picture I posted... the left eye mirror shows that the right NVG tube is directly above the left eye.
This means that the left and right image are basically the same (if you look really carefully). As a result, you see the monocle in both eyes (I wouldn't mind if the left eye's view of the monocle is ever so slight offset as it would be in real life but that is NOT the case)!
Looks to be a bug which is a shame (I think).. I am extremely surprised no one's picked up on this!
Re: ipd setting in VR tab, it wasnt a "failure", i had set it to 1 or whatever after reading several posts and videos re: vr settings.. i personallt tried rhe default ipd distance and found it quite uncomfortable to fly as i inherently have a high ipd and it was causing a lot of discomfort.
I will try adjusting the ipd to something lower than 64mm and see if that makes a difference.
If I am not making sense re: the left and right eye.. do let me know but hopefully I explained it quite well in this post?!
