  1. Thanks, yeah seems like a missing feature. Or just share the co-ordinates I guess
  2. Haha. Fair point, but it has no LSS?
  3. I can for my life not find how to search for a laser spot search of another laser. If I have a JTAC lasing, how to I find that place? Does anyone know hot to do it?
  4. I think this is in the F16 as well. I tried to have a program where the action is none on all airborne. Still it want's me to counter as soon as a plane shows up. Semi test.trk
  5. I'm guessing in auto mode that the threshold is asking when the countermeasures should be activated, but what it is it in the semi mode? In the F16, using semi mode om CMDS, does the threshold change anything?

  6. For once, this is very specifically mentioned in the changelog: Known issue: FCR range and azimuth bumping using cursor can intermittently fail.
  7. Yeah, as the tile says. If I move the MMS to a target and go into point track while I still touch my slew, the slew action will continue even after entering point track causing the point track to be useless. The point track box is left but MMS will point at a wrong place and continue to move. This is ok if the object is stationary but very annoying if the object is moving. This also applies to some other modes, like the second point track.
  8. @BIGNEWY Forgot about that rule. Oopsie Anyway, can you please take up these 2 items with the team: Autopilot Stick steering breakout force. There should be something because now, as soon as you touch the stick the plane accepts the inputs. This is almost dangerous since you can't rest the hand on the stick or TMS without it moving. Try it on a force sensing stick and you will find out. Autopilot should be stronger when reaching the requested angles because there it is very weak, but quite strong when far away from the requested angle. One could even argue that it is too strong when far from the requested angle. The autopilot has a "limited authority" so it's input isn't strong, but it will still use all of it to get close to the desired course. I hope this makes sense
  9. The autopilot on the F16 is very weak. If the plane is not perfectly balanced out, there will be drift instead of following the heading or even holding straight. This should change to a more agreesive steering so that the autopilot can hold teh course better, like literally every autopilot in existence.
  10. The main problem seems that it is so different between different setups like VR and different resolution. What we need is a standardised way where all setups see the other planes at similar distances. A reasonable distance feels like it would be 10 NM maximum, and a very visible plane at 2 NM. The way it is now where when you zoom in the plane dissappears and when you zoom out the plane becomes a huge blob is just not ok. You shouldn't be punished for zooming in.
  11. Yeah, I should maybe have mentioned that
  12. Non-VR. 2560x1440 screen It is absolutely horrible now. When the enemy is 15 NM away and I zoom out I get thses huge blobs that are hard to miss, but when I zoom in they actually become smaller and are easy to miss. But when the planes get closer they are harder to see because the blobness dissappears.
  13. @TOViper Thanks, but not quite what I asked. I am using the AKAN pod, but after getting range info on the enemy, I turn off the radar. After that the range still updates. If the radar is off, I shouldn't have range info.
  14. Stupid question, but when I use the AKAN and press radar A1 and T1 to lock the target. If I then turn off the radar I still get range updates. Does it have another way to range to target?
  15. And small addition. The Jammer radar does start the search when going into A-A mode with Aim-120. But the radar wont start in the MSL OVRD mode for the Aim-120. (not dogfight). Added track file as well for this. There are definitively some bugs. Jammer overriding for A-A mode but not for msl ovrd.trk
  16. I see. Thanks. I will play around a bit more to maybe understand it better.
  17. @Hobel 1. Thanks. But yeah, I was spesifecally asking about the HAD, not the HARM. Can it see object 90 degrees off centerline? Can it see 120 degrees of centerline? Can it see 150 degrees of centerline? The HARM can attack objects behind, as long it knows the co-ordinates. 2. Well I tried it with friends and turned right (right arrow). Well I ended up doing 2 360 degree turns. Is it like degrees to the side relative? What exactly does it want me to do, because it not just turn.
  18. I have been playing around a little with the SEAD capabilities and 2 questions came up. 1. What is the FOV of the HAD, because it is not 360 degrees. What can it actually see? 2. When a team member wants to ping a SAM site, they mark it and go TMS left long. But what do the arrows mean that we other members get?
  19. As I understand the manual, when the jammer is in automatic mode, jamming on 1 is so weak that my own radar can still operate, and 2 is deactivating my own radar when jamming. So the setup. I set the countermeasures panel to semi and on the jammer panel I set 2 and opr. This is fine but then I get locked on by an enemy plane, then i want to switch to 1 on the jammer panel so that my radar starts working and I can counter the enemy plane. Except that this still doesn't make my radar work. The only way I could get it to work is to turn off the jammer completely to off on the jammer panel. I tried going out if semi mode (countermeasures switch right) and more but it didn't help. The radar works then until I move the switch on the jammer panel to opr, and then the radar stops working again, even though I have the switch on 1. I would love to attach a track file but I don't know how to make a short mission where we can test this without having a full flight. EDIT: Added track file. So I fly towards this SAM unit (no missiles) and I am in semi mode with jammer active on mode 2. As soon as I get painted, my jammer activates and my radar goes off. But when I move it to 1 it doesn't weaken so I can use my radar. You can also see later that my radar doesn't work, even after my jammer is turned to standby mode via the countermeasures button (6 yellow S on jammer panel). It only comes off when I move the whole jammer to standby. I hope it makes sense. Jammer going from 2 to 1 is not activating radar.trk
  20. Hello, I just have to ask, are you by any chance in the FWD mode and not the manual?
  21. Can you confirm that you have the same problem as I have mentioned above?
  22. I wish I could help more. But all i can say is that it works fine here, so I have no other idea.
  23. I think I found the reason. When I go full left (X-axis) and then go up and down at the same time, when crossing the Y-Axis it stops. I need to go to zero and start again. But if I move more up or down past the axis, it seems to work. Same actually applies to the Y-axis when crossing the X-axis
