Hey all, I just started playing DCS a week ago on my new rig. GeForce 4090, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64 GB RAM DDR5 6600, 4 TB SSD, 1000 W power. I have a Quest 3 VR headset that started out great. DId some tweaking based on reading threads here, Reddit, and YouTube, and something started causing my headset to "shake" when I'm playing. It's almost like the headset is loose and vibrating with any head movement. It is very disorienting. Using the DCS MT version with OpenXR Toolkit turbo mode, Quest Link, resolution set to the highest setting with 72Hz. Also using the Oculus Tray Tool.
I can't post a screenshot of my in-game settings at the moment, but here are the basics:
Res 1920 x 1080, res of cockpit displays 1024, MSAA, 4x, upscaling off, sharpening .80, textures medium, terrain textures high, shadows low, clutter/grass 400, forest 70%, details .65/.65, gamma 2.0, lod switch 1.5, VR PD is 1.2. The visuals are great, and I'm getting the same stutter at a PD of 1.2 or 1.8. I also reduced a lot of settings and still am getting the stutter with much lower resolution. So I either have the game looking incredibly detailed with stutter or looking blurry with stutter.
In game frame rates are a solid 72 fps across the board with very little bumps in the line.
Using a hard-wire to the PC with the Q3 using a link cable USB-C.
Any thoughts here?
