  1. Does 2.8.x revert.bat require W10? Because at this point I'm okay with taking $10usd as a lesson learned and I would frankly rather have a functional game again even if it means I'm outdated (I actually am... way too old for this <profanity>. Seen game companies pull this <profanity> too many times)
  2. Okay, so I've done a full uninstall and fresh reinstall (2 day download) and get the same error. Of note, I CAN launch the model viewer although it does list errors (if there is relevant interest I can list them) I have removed and then re-added excpetions to c:\program files\eagle dynamics\ (and to c:\program files\eagle dynamics\dcs world just in case) Same result, same error. So much for my fun weekend flying new jets. I only updated from 2.8.x to be able to use FC24 so I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty annoyed. 4 days wasted.
  3. I covered that in my original post. Already tried that. Thanks for the thought tho.
  4. Just updated to 2.9.6 from 2.8.x so I can fly my new toys in FC24 but upon launching (have rebooted and added the DCS folder to my AV exceptions) I receive the following error: DCS.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point GetDpiForWindow could not be located the dll C:progfiles/Eagle dynamics/DCS World/bin-mt/edWebviewBrowser.dll Not seeing any results for this error on the forum. Currently considering performing a rollback given the lack of other options. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  5. Resolved, tyvm. Can't believe I overlooked that, lol. Now to find the conflict.
  6. Completely remove or disable in mod manager? Log file attached. TYVMdcs.log
  7. Haven't seen this addressed with a resolution yet. If so, please delete this. Purchased Bf-109, downloaded, installed. 109 shows as installed in mod manager. Mod icon appears & is clickable. Loaded instant action, free flight. Sim loads but behind the Go screen, instead of seeing my cockpit, I see F10 view. Click Start and it goes straight to map view. F2 lets me view other a/c but not mine. Created mission in ME, on Caucasus map and one on Marianas map. Place my 109 on runway, select myself as pilot. No other a/c. Load mission, same result: no cockpit, straight to map view. Modify mission, add my P-47 w/me as pilot, set my 109 to take off from ramp. Load sim, P-47 appears as normal, but when I F2 twice to see the 109, there's nothing. Just my Jug. Tried copying the 109 folder to various other mod folders with no effect. Deleted mod, performed Slow Repair and it re-dl'ed the 109 and reinstalled it fine, but with the same end results. I can only view a 109 in-game if it's a static object. I'm at a bit of a loss... any ideas?
