  1. Yes. That's why we created it.
  2. Hi all, Well, we've been looking at getting into DCS but... ANYWAY... that said, after having looked at doing one of our planes we realized quite quickly that we would have to redo all of the existing animations in our models. A pretty serious thing... as well as EXTREMELY time consuming, tedious and boring. So, we wrote this nifty little script that takes existing animations, copy's them, creates the arg (based upon which track has the animation), asks you which draw argument number you want (a generic one for many objects or a specific one per object), pastes the euler or position xyz track in after and, finally, pastes the old keyframes in. Now, obviously, if you know your stuff, you will know that going from a linear or euler track type to an arg based (euler) type can and will almost certainly create some errors in rotation. These will have to be gone over and fixed manually. However, in our test file, with over 528 animated objects, only 5 had this issue. It was considerably quicker to fix those 5 than to redo the animation for 528 objects. It will also allow you to linearize the keyframes... yup. this thing does it all... It will deffo help those who have already animated their models. For FSX or others... So, we're giving this one away free of charge... Feel free to use it and if you wish, mod it. We had considered adding the draw arguments RTF as an addon so that you could pick your arg directly in the script but... we would have had to make sure that our naming of objects was appropriate... Thanks and have fun with it. Colin of Milviz. milvizArgCtrl.zip
