  1. I'd like to see a line of sight function added to the core. The user would pick two objects and the function would check the line of sight between those two objects. The results could be a graph of elevation changes vs distance between the two objects (which would be most useful) or a simple green or red check indication the line of sight was either clear or blocked. Objects could be steer points (making sure no mountains were in the way for example) or vehicles on the ground (can this group/unit see another group or unit and attack).
  2. I too believe adding the ability to view objects in 3D while in the mission editor would be a great add. It would allow me to create missions much quicker and execute quality control without having to launch the mission and find the object by repeatedly hitting F12.
  3. When I'm using either the TGP or Maverick on the right MFD, I get a huge FPS hit when those sensors are looking at the ground. I am using a smaller external monitor (Cubesim 800x600 screens) to display that data. If I use the left MFD to display the sensors (using a different 800x600 Cubesim screen), the FPS does not drop. If the sensors are looking at the sky instead of the ground, the FPS does not drop. If I remove the external Cubesim screens from the game, (change the number of screens and resolution under Options->System) and just use the DCS game to display the sensor data, the FPS does not drop either. VSYNC is turned off and I'm running openBeta 2.9... Anyone got any ideas?
