  1. Could you recommend some servers/groups for helicopter flying, particularly UH-1H? I'm in Poland (ping matters). I don't have much time to play but I would like to fly some co-op missions for example. Like playing the Ground Attack - Hard (Instant Action) but with a human as a wingman. I can even do some Huey dogfighting , just for fun...
  2. I would love a refreshed, official Huey. Don't mind paying for it.
  3. Yup, it doesn't make much sense but indeed the setting that was messing up my elevator trim (and nothing else) was FF (guess it was on by default on a new PC). When I went to Settings > Misc. and unticked the Force Feedback checkbox the problem was gone.
  4. Ok, found it! Go to Settings > Special > UH-1H and untick Autopilot Availability checkbox.
  5. Hi, I recently got back to flying Huey on a new PC. I remember that I could both control the helicopter and a flexible gun sight as a co-pilot (I have hat on my Virpil stick bound to a mouse via Joystick Gremlin). It was difficult but a lot of fun. Now, I can fly the helicopter as a co-pilot, but as soon as I unfold the gun sight I can't control the Huey. It works as in auto pilot, going straight. Do you know how to unlock full co-pilot capability?
  6. @-Cipher- Thanks .trk file. Yup, on your plane trim is sensitive, just like it used to be mine. I've attached mine, you can see how stable the plane is even if I move the trim from one extreme to another. What kind of setting should I have for FF? I've checked what I have for "Elevator Trim - axis" in FF Tune, and I have exactly the same stuff as for all other axes that work just fine. P51D-useless-elevator-trim.trk
  7. I don't use auto rudder, take off assistance or simplified flight model, I don't have any devices with force feedback.
  8. I've played some instant action games with P-51D and noticed how movements of my wingman are completely unrealistic. Depending on how I fly the wingman move to keep formation but do so in a very artificial way (like translating from point to point). Also, other friendly planes e.g. bombers in formation keep bobbing like buoys...
  9. I remember that elevator trim in Mustang was very sensitive. Around a month ago I've noticed that it doesn't have any effect at all. Was there some recent update that messed it up? Does it work for you? My binding is working fine, I can see the knob turning, I can see the trim tab deflection. Just no impact on nose attitude... :(
  10. I would love to see damage model worthy of 21st century, like in GHPC (Gunner HEAT PC armed vehicles simulator) for example. Damage there is not based on a large hitboxes + scripted response/decals/animation but instead projectile and fragmentation paths are traced and damage to various components and personnel is checked. You can even review it afterwards: In DCS, at least in UH-1H Huey (which I love btw), damage model is very primitive. You can hit front of the chopper and after certain amount of "points" the main rotor or tail will fall off... Not a single paid model should act in this basic way in 2024. Edit: typo

    Huey’s DM

Huey is great by damage model is rather poor, it feels like just a bunch hitboxes with scripted effects.
