I'll check those solutions. I see it says access violation in log but it seems this is too vague. I also tried reverting to DCS 2.5.6. And this version loads fast and works perfectly. But it's not a solution to play a 4 years old version.

Two or more years ago, this game worked fine on this PC, since then I left it. Now since updating to current version, I am unable to get past loading screen when starting mission, I tried 20+ times, always it crash on "World Preload: 1/60". Can someone help with reason it may be crashing? Things tried: deleted Saved Games/DCS folder to create new one, verified the game files via Steam, set graphics to low, moved pagefile to SSD and increased its size to 32 GB, sfc /scannow, and install latest graphics driver.
