Is it possible to hit the SAM with the Mav? I'm fairly certain I'm launching correctly and have yet to score a hit causing lead to waste a JDAM. (edit: grammar)

First, thanks for a great campaign so far. I am unable to start the AAR sequence on missions 2 & 3. Paco does his demo and I attempt to request rejoin using the DCS comm menu ( \, F6 "Texaco", F1) and there is no response. I've watched a couple of YT videos and it seems like that is what others are doing to continue. Hopefully I'm just an idiot. I have also made sure to deselect 'No force from mission, use mine' in settings per one of your videos. On the plus side: I'm now Above Average on all maneuvers from attempting these missions so many times, lol! Thanks.
