We're looking for new members to join the 404th Lost Boys!
We welcome all new members, regardless of experience level. Our goal is to foster a friendly and open community focused on gaming. We run a persistent DCS server that is (almost) always open to all members. We also run ARMA missions from time to time, and have spaces for discussion on other games. However, DCS is our primary game and the focus of most of our events. Our community rules promote a safe and welcoming place to play and discuss games.
This Sunday evening (North America) we are planning an event to record footage in our DCS server to aid in the creation of a video that promotes our server and the values of our community. We would love to have a few new people join in, whether it be experienced pilots new to the squadron, or players new to DCS. If you are brand new to DCS, we would ask that you work with our members to help you at least get to the point of having your controls set up and ready to fly prior to the event of course.
The 404th has been in operation for over two years now, and the core group consists of members from another DCS squadron that got fed up with the toxicity. We have zero tolerance for toxic behaviour and a very active moderation team that discusses potential rule violations to ensure that we run the community in a fair fashion while quickly working to eliminate any hateful or toxic posts.
For people looking for MILSIM, we do occasionally run missions that aim to replicate a realistic military mission, however, there is no MILSIM within the community structure.

Join us on our Discord! Many of our members, and almost our entire mod team, have full time jobs and live in North America, so during the day on weekdays and late at night you might not get a welcome message right away, just give us a few hours. We exist and we are active!
