Fliehender Fuchs

An update: I deleted the Hornet that was supposed to land on the carrier about 10 minutes before me, and ACLS landing became successful. So I guess the problem lies with the turbulence. It's surprising that there would still be turbulence on the deck after such a duration.

I've got everything for ACLS in order, like the TACAN, ILS, ACL, Datalink and so on. And I did engage ATC CPL P/R successfully 6 nm away from the carrier, and the descent was smooth and pleasant for most of the time. But just as I got really close to the carrier (like 0.5 nm), the autopilot suddenly gave me strange pitches, and got me landing heavily in front of the first wire. So by the time I went into the landing area, I was level on my three wheels, with the hook in the air, resulting in a failed landing.
