Thanks, I will check them out. Do you know if they will work with this joystick? The base is a little large, and not sure how it connects to the bracket. I'm going to use this just for the joystick for now, but was looking at getting a seperate VKB throttle to add to the realism when flying. Plus, it has more buttons to help make things like targeting easier. https://eshop.thrustmaster.com/en_us/t-flight-stick-x.html

So I mostly play MSFS but have been getting a little more familiar with DCS. I have a simple all-in-one joystick/throttle, but I wanted to get a separate throttle that mimics a real jet more. I also want to get some brackets so I can attach the joystick and throttle lower down at a more natural height instead of just sitting on my desk. I have seen a few options on Amazon, but I'm not sure which one is the best. I just want to make sure whatever I get feels sturdy and is of good quality. Any advice

Are there any MODS for bombs with a larger payload/warhead?

Thanks. From what it sounds like, you're saying the mod wouldnt be a new model but just a script that modifies the amount of damage an existing weapon does. Is that correct? -

Hello. I'm just a casual player, still newish to the game. Are there any MODS that will increase the damage done by my bombs? I mainly use the GBU-12 or 24. Thanks -
Very cool. Thanks for the info.

Thanks I figured they might not be that different but since DCS is a much more in depth sim I wasn't sure if I would run into issues if I didn't do everything in the exact right order. I know the VRS superbug is a good representation for P3D but not sure how it holds up vs the DCS F/A-18. For example, in the Superbug you don't have to align the HMCS for it to work.

So I am new to the F/A-18 in DCS but have some experience in the VRS Superbug for P3D, including how to start the plane from cold and dark. I know the simulation in DCS is more in-depth however I am wondering for the most part, If I follow the same procedures that I learned in the VRS F/A-18 will I be able to start the plane in DCS? Thanks

Thanks.

Thanks. If it happens again I will try this.

So I am new to the game and currently have a trial of the F-16. Twice, including my last flight, I turned on the HMCS before takeoff and it worked, but at some point during the flight it disappeared and I couldn't figure out how to get it to reappear. The first thing I tried was to turn the knob up and down again bit that didn't work. So does anyone know what could be causing it to disappear and how I can get it back again? Thanks

Thank you, it never occurred to me to look for 2nd hand stuff but I will definitely check it out.

I currently fly using the Thrustmaster Flightstick X pictured below, but I would like to up my game and get a separate stick and throttle that's a little higher quality. Looking at the Thrustmaster site, everything that's geared for fighter jets is close to $500. Is there something in between my stick and the warthog that you would recommend? Also, I am looking at getting a desk mount so I can put the controls at a more natural level like these and I am wondering what brand you would suggest? It doesn't have to be fancy as long as it's sturdy.

So I downloaded the game awhile back and setup a few training missions in the editor and learned to hit targets using laser-guided bombs from the FA-18 and F-16 using the trial modules. Now I want to get the game for good and need some help with the editor again. One thing I had trouble with before is figuring out how to select a specific airport and starting spot. How do I change the start locaction of my plane? Thanks
