This is my AV setting. It's obviously something I'm doing wrong this end.

Well I don't know what to do now. I set my antivirus up to exclude DCS , I've done several cleanup and repairs, deleted missions I made for theF4. I uninstalled and re-installed the F4 ,which seemed to work but I could not get to the cockpit,(it was the map view only). Then when I re-started DCS ,the message saying the F4 was disabled appeared again. I'm at a total loss.

Yes ,both are set to allow DCS . Good advice though. What I don't understand Is that, its been working fine for weeks ,why now?

Yes , I ran cleanup and repair ,also told my antivirus to make an exception of DCS . I ran the game, but it started in the map view and I could not fly from the cockpit. I tried pressing F1, to no avail. So I un-installed it re-started the game ,re-installed it only to get the same dis-abled message .So I'm back to square one. All my other aircraft are working fine, it's just the F4, but looking at some of the replies I'm not alone. It's very puzzling .

Hi, I've just logged on to DCS and to my surprise it says the F4 is not authorised, and will be dis-abled. It's completely disappeared. I wonder has anyone else had this happen? Thanks.
