Thanks Art-J, it was exactly that. When I customized the key settings in the F-18, I couldn‘t find the ‚PTT‘ because it is named differently. But after watching a Grim Reaper video regarding this topic, I was able to implement the right setting. Thank you all for your help!

Thanks, I unchecked the ‚easy comms‘ in the settings but unfortunately it didn‘t work. I also realized that I can open the comms menu while I am on the carrier but as soon as I am airborne and have to switch e.g. to the Tanker frequency (e.g. in mission 8, when you have to switch to ‚Shell‘) the comms menu doesn‘t work… Could this have something to do with the key binding (I changed the default key for the comms menu when I customized the settings for the F18)?…

Hi, I can't open the standard DCS comms in the missions and therefore can't do e.g. air-to-air refuelling, as I can't communicate with the tanker (no pre-contact etc.). Has anyone an idea how to solve this issue? Thanks...
