  1. Another 'on hold thing' I just noticed DCS is doing an automatic update (the last 12 days) I know I asked if my hideously slow internet could be problematic with this, I beleve it is. Little I can do about that until I get my fiber optic installed.
  2. So, I start reverb and WMR, peek under the hood and launch DCS from desktop, correct ?
  3. I don't seem to have the shortcut to start DCS, What am I overlooking or missing ?
  4. I do have a few modules that run fine on my desktop, but not in WMR or SteamVR. So, How does one get around this licencing thing.
  5. Yes, and that puts me in my WMR house. I can launch SteamVR from there but only in 2D mode. I am downloading DCS for SteamVR in 3D, total 9 day download. I would like to find the destination folder, so I can see the progress without having to use the goggles and launch SteamVR. If I launch DCS from WMR, it only starts in 2D. At the point it shoud show your gams across the bottom, DCS just shuts down. I believe this is because this is stand alone DCS and not DCS for SteamVR.
  6. Damn, a bit over 8 more days of downloading.
  7. OK, I am convinced my instalation of DCS is not going to run. What I am doing now, is downloading DCS within SteamVR and hope that fixes things. The long wait is on, for my slow internet, 24 hours and at the 9% mark.
  8. OK, I found a tutorial how to launch games from your WMR house. Trying to figure out how to get games on a wall, where they can be launced without SteamVR running. Problem is what other forums and videos show is very different than what I have. Really complicated and confusing for me.
  9. I have dozens of those, the one video is like an example of how I am hoping this will all work. I have a couple others like one showing a UH-1 hovering between the tails of an A-10, somthing near impossible without VR 3D.
  10. Yes, Steam VR launches automatically. In WMR, there is no launch button I can find. (same with Open XR tools) Now, with SteamVR running it shows my games in the panel. I can start DCS from there, and in 2D I can select the VR button next to lauch DCS, I get the next panel (15 years of DCS) In 3D, there is nothing to show, even with the monitor button off. Ta the point where DCS is launched, (the row of games at the bottom,) DCS shuts down completely. So, someone need to clu me in how to launch DCS from mixed reality. If only DCS would launch the same as Google EarthVR and Oculus, I would be good to go. dcs.log
  11. I do have OpenXR tools installed These screenshots show the whole thing. So what would be the procedure to launch DCS with SteamVR shut down?
  12. Alright, that gives me a couple things to play with. I did try that little man with goggles, it seemed to have no effect, then the launch DCS button. I also played with that monitor button, so I see how that works. So, I need to turn of that monitor first, press the face with goggles, then Lauch DCS, correct?
  13. OK, this should be really simple, I installed Google Earth VR, It launces and runs just fine save for my very slow internet, Everthing works and the graphics defy desription. SO, I start DCS, press the launch DCS button, it does launch as viewed on my monitor but in SteamVR all I have is an empty grid floor display, the mirroing is separated. Acts like DCS is not taking over my VR view in the goggles. I just shut down SteamVR at my desktop, attached is the log file and a couple screenshots of Google Earth VR. dcs.log Hey, if you never tried Google Earth VR, you should, it is mind boggling awesome.
  14. I will see what I can do to get a fresh log file when I get more free time.
  15. I think I got what you asked for. Should I change this to SteamVR?
