  1. hey all. ive searched around and havent been able to find a good tutorial on inputting l/l coordinates into the cdu that the jtac gives me. theres all kinds of utm tutorials, but not alot of l/l ones. could someone please direct me to the best area to learn this? thanks alot.
  2. cool. i was able to locate them. thanks all.
  3. hey everyone. ive downloaded some of the training missions in the user files area, for example:BFT07-Aerobatics. i made a new folder and named them the subsequent numbers after the ones already there. i put the miz files in: dcs a-10c/training/en/aircraft operation/ whatever folder i created with the numbers. I'm not seeing them in the sim under training. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to look somewhere else? thanks all.
  4. I got it. I just created some keyboard shortcuts for the hotas radio switch and was able to switch radios. Thanks everyone.
  5. Ya, that's what I'm talking about. Either I hit esc to close it or f12 or the \ button and I only get the jtac menu. Dont see why it isn't going back to the root menu. Maybe I'll have to make a keystroke for the hotas mike switch to change radios, since I'm not using a hotas joystick.
  6. hey everyone. this may be a dumb question, but i cant seem to find an answer anywhere in the forum. after i have gone into the jtac menu and got my 9 line and coordinates and all that, for some reason i cant figure out how to go back to the menu to give instructions to my wingmen to attack ground targets. could someone please direct me to the right place or answer my question? thanks!
  7. Thanks alot guys. Where's the option on the mfd's for day and night?
  8. So as far as the mfd's, is there anything I can do with nvg's on, or do I just have to turn the brightness down on them?
  9. thats the ticket. thanks all
  10. cool. ill try that. thanks
  11. Hey everyone. Thanks for the info on my last question. I have another one. When I flip the switches and knobs for formation lighting and anti k and all that, the wingtip lights and the others aren't turning on. I know there's different settings like flash and steady, but they aren't turning on. Also there's another one, can't remember which one, but when I flip it to "on", it flips back to off. Any ideas? thanks
  12. Ok, thanks guys. I was kind of confused because of how in dcs BS, there's lighting inside for nvg's. I've done the brightness on everything, the mfd's are still kind of a pain though.
  13. Hi all. Don't know if this has been addressed or not. If so, could someone please paste a link? If not, some info would be nice. When I'm using nvg's, my night vision lighting in the cockpit doesn't turn on, when I click the key I've linked to it or when I manually click the switch in the cockpit. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks.
