  1. Thanks for the detailed explanation! That's what I was roughly guessing at first based on Wikipedia and the first mentioned source in this thread. I guess that would also be easier to add compared to the large SMT overhaul.
  2. Good point, can't use that magic Mig21 radar doing Grom War Thunder forums seem to kind of contradict the other source I mentioned, here the SM is just some quite "new" Serbian model: https://forum.warthunder.com/t/mikoyan-gurevich-mig-29-fulcrum-history-design-performance-dissection/28118 Though Wikipedia also mentions the 9.13 Fulcrum-C SM as a main variant.
  3. I'm a little bit struggling with finding cockpit pictures of the Mig29-SM (9.13M). SMT seems to have 2 large MFDs, while SM is similar to S (minus MT) according to this source: https://www.machtres.com/lang1/mig-29.html So I guess the SM cockpit should not have the 2 MFDs like in the SMT (personally, I like "older" planes without large MFDs more)?
  4. What a pity that this is on hold... would be such a great module for Mig-21 fans. Mig29-A doesn't really fill it (and lacks the beauty of soviet blueish cockpit if I'm not mistaken).
  5. I know that this is probably not on the table (variant is Mig-29A) but nevertheless: More air-to-ground capabilities would greatly enhance the mission spectrum of the module. E.g. with a Mig-29SM variant. Till then I have to hope for Mig-23 still being finished
