While it has a modern feel, some aspects of it appear to be from the past 10-20 years, suggesting it's not strictly contemporary but rather a fictionalized version of the present or near future. It does not seem to align with a specific historical period like the Cold War. A "near contemporary war state" setting could indeed offer the most engaging and versatile experience for players.

I just downloaded CapCut, a free video editor that has versions for Mac, PC, Android, and IOS. I'm checking out a couple of YouTube videos on it, but does anyone have experiences, good or bad, that they'd want to share?
