  1. Running into some setting issues. I've got "jaggies" I guess they are called. I know I'm not going to get 2D rendering and resolution in VR just yet, but I need to know what I'm shooting at. The problem with watching and reading so many peoples "fixes", and "secret" settings solutions is that they're all so different and finding a real recent one is tough. I've been trying the "turn stuff on and off and restart" route. My system is an AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D, 32GB DDR5, and a NVIDIA RTX5080 Should have enough for some good settings, but you never know...
  2. Ok, so far so good. Little speed bumps along the way, but nothing that couldn't be overcome. I understand now that once you go VR you can't go back. Thank you all for your advice and help.
  3. Went with a MQ3. It'll be here tomorrow so I'll stick right in and let you guys know. I was mostly referring to the posts, videos and reviews I've been plowing through and the Pimax in Amazon I was looking at. The lack of solid intel was getting to me. Getting back into flying after about... well, flying Falcon 4.0 with a CH Products flight stick red top button. Yeah, a while. Thanks much for the replies and advice.
  4. Ok, so this is driving me nuts. The more research I do the more it seems as though there is no clear choice for VR that doesn't include either some kind of subscription, MIT level calculus to set up, critical hardware SNAFU's, or 2 months of mortgage payments that net you the most expensive door stop you've ever owned. If this is simply the way it is I'll start with the modest priced units and go from there and chalk it up to the price of admission. I could really use some help jumping into these barracuda infested waters.
