  1. Thank you very much for your very detailed answer. It will definitely help me figure it out. Let me ask you another question. When I turn on the starter in the P-51, some kind of glow appears both inside the plane and outside. This glow is noticeable even during the day in the area of the pedals. I just can't imagine what it could be. In my opinion, it's either a bug or a very unsuccessful attempt to reproduce engine flashes (although this lighting appears when there is no fuel and detonations in the engine)
  2. I tried to figure out what A2A's simulations are, and as far as I understand, it is an organization that makes realistic aircraft models for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Is it correct? It turns out that I can only fly in Microsoft Flight Simulator in this Mustang where the battery is discharged. Am I right in understanding this? Can you please tell me which model you think is more realistic in DSC or the one with the discharging battery?
  3. Just started playing DCS and got my first free plane - P51. I have several questions: 1) I got the impression that the battery on this plane is unlimited. You can turn on the starter as much as you want or completely refuse to turn on the generator when using this plane - you will never see the battery discharge. Either this model is made without taking into account the battery, or I don’t understand something. 2) Also, I would be very interested in understanding why it is impossible to start the engine with the Fuel Mixture Control lever in the position of "Run". You need to first select the Idle/Cutoff position and at the first engine revolutions switch to "Run". I would like to understand what is behind this because in modern engines, you supply the required mixture to the engine immediately during startup.
  4. Could you please tell me which VR glasses would be the best choice for my case? Will glasses with higher resolution give any advantages, for example, Pimax Crystal Light with 4k for an eye, or will they just cause a drop in fps due to the resolution being too high?
  5. I have the same laptop specifications, but mine is a Gigabyte Aorus 17X AZF. As for VR glasses, if I buy them, I am aiming for Pimax Crystal Light because they have excellent reviews from flight simulator enthusiasts. These VR glasses give 8k for both eyes, so I wonder if my laptop can handle 8k In DCS. Can you tell me, please, how many FPS do you have with your Quest Pro? If I'm correct, your VR glasses give around 4K for both eyes.
  6. I liked the DCS, but I immediately realized that I needed VR. I have a laptop with RTX 4090. In terms of power, it is about the same as 3080 desktop. How do you think if this graphic card will handle virtual reality glasses, ideally 4K for each eye?
