    Ideas for new G_A movie

     

    Hello G_A

     

    I have a little idea - that would be useful to simmers like me if it can be done.

     

    Would it be possible to do a short movie - bout 1.5 / 3 mins long that compares the flight abilty of the KA-50 with decent equipment (track-ir, rudder pedals, flight stick etc) compared to just using keyboard and flight stick.

     

    The reason i ask is coz i think to play this game properly i would have to spend some money (which i dont have)

    I have to say that what most people are saying is just a frustrated opinion on what they have engaged in to what they THOUGHT they were getting.

     

    Flaming Cliffs gave us an AFM and this was a great step into the area of Virtual Flight Sim Technology. Flaming Cliffs also gave us better NET CODE so you die hard MP pilots could battle it out in the skies more evenly.

     

    Heck, Flaming Cliffs gave me, AND STILL DOES, hours and hours of serious fun and I WILL NEVER DELETE IT FROM MY HARD DRIVE. :thumbup:

     

    I am a FPS (first person shooter) gamer first and foremost when it comes to PC games. However, I have a passion for aircraft and flying. Ever since I was able to draw pictures of planes as a kid.....

     

    ....and if I get the chance to play a game that resembles the real life interest then I will buy it and play it

     

     

     

    Flaming Cliffs is a PC GAME, it is not a MILTARY SIMULATOR and as such you get what you pay for.end of story. If I was spending top notch sterling, then I would expect zero bugs, but monies to the value of approx 20 - 30 quid....well, what can I say

     

    I can say this.....I WELL GOT MY MONIES WORTH AND THE ENJOYMENT FACTOR IS STILL GOING STRONG.

     

    ED----------Take your time, I can wait for great things and I feel BS will be worth the wait.

     

    People, one more thing---time moves on and if you get stuck in the past, well, you won't see the future.

    Right Then - to everyone involved in this discussion.

    I have a friend who is a Pilot in the R.A.F (currently serving) and guess what I did?

     

    I asked him to describe his tactics if faced with the threat of a missile.

     

     

     

    His response -------- wait for it "if the ETA of the missile were generous then a descending, accelerating 180 degree turn would be the most favourable with counter-measures thrown in if needed. If ETA were not so generous then serious concentration kicks in and its down to high G turns horizontally and vertically with lots of counter-measures for reassurance". He found it pleasantly amusing that a BARREL ROLL might be used to counter a missiles effectiveness when chasing a £30 Million fighter jet. He thinks not - his conclusion 'just as well its a simulator'

    I'm sorry but ... there is simpy NO COMPARING EECH and Black Shark!

     

    GGTharos - is your conclusion based on sound experience of both games because I have never played EECH and obviously not played BS, therefore I could not arrive at the same conclusion as yourself.

     

    If the answer is yes then I ask one small favour. In your opinion is BS gonna rock?

     

    give it a score out of 10 ( 1 = lowest - 10 = highest)

    ps - i feel that an answer from ED would be a positive gesture from the consumers POV. You see - there are some excellent PC games out now and soon to be released.

    I do not have vasts amount of dosh to spend on games and therefore if BS won't be released for ages I will spend my money on other games that I want to play now instead of putting it to one side for a product that might not be released for a long while

    need a favour from some people, i have tried all the links for screenies and info to do with this mod, but they dont work (its not the links its the damn filters on the ISP)

    (nearly) a 31 year pld lawyer who demands this movie to be differently formatted to suit HIS needs. bbbrrrmmmmm brrrrmmmmm brmmmmm (wiggling index finger over pouted lips)

    KATO217 -- thank you for your wordds of wisdom my good friend.

     

     

    I DID NOT have the LOMAN 2.1 Patch installed when i originally installed the BA Mod.

     

    Sooooo i installed the patch (after removing the mod first) ran LOFC and Guess what?

     

     

     

     

    WAHAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY OH YESSSSSSSSS IT WORKS!! OH SO SWEETLY

     

     

    Love the BA SKIN

     

     

    so LOFC 1.12a using LOMAN 2.1 final (with patch) does work
