  1. My mouse is a Logitech G502, but I've found that the frame drop caused by mouse movement doesn't seem to be related to the mouse itself: The problem persists after I replaced the mouse; it also causes frame drops when I completely unplug the mouse and use the controller joystick to simulate mouse movement. This issue only seems to occur when I launch the game for the first time after turning on the computer; when I restart the game, the problem disappears. Is there any information or document I need to provide?
  2. I just tried it, but it didn't work. Still, thank you for your suggestion.
  3. What information is needed? My mouse is a Logitech G502, and the polling rate is 1000Hz.
  4. In fact, just as I described in the third point, the frame rate issue caused by mouse movement is quite strange. Sometimes it doesn't occur when I launch the game, and sometimes it does, and I can't find a pattern to it. I tried lowering the polling rate to 500, but the problem didn't go away and still maintained the aforementioned odd characteristics. However, there's one thing I think is worth noting: when this issue occurs, the CPU performance graph is similar to the second and third graphs on the second floor. What's more, when I move the mouse quickly, I can see the occupancy rate of one of the cores shoot up to 100% in no time. When the issue doesn't occur, the CPU performance is close to what's shown in the first graph, and there's no obvious or sharp change in the CPU performance graph when I move the mouse quickly.
  5. The problems I want to solve are as follows: Solve the problem that the game starts extremely slowly after setting the CPU to the highest - priority. Solve the problem that the game occasionally gets stuck on a black screen and the process shows no response during startup. Solve the problem that the frame rate drops sharply when moving the mouse, which occurs irregularly.
  6. There seems to be a fundamental difference in CPU allocation when the highest CPU priority is enabled or disabled. The first image shows the situation when the CPU priority is set to the highest, with the game successfully entering the main menu and functioning properly. The second and third images respectively show the scenario when the CPU priority is set to default, where the game gets stuck at the black screen loading step during startup or freezes after entering the main menu.
  7. Since a DCS update two months ago, the main menu has been freezing. Sometimes it freezes permanently, requiring a computer restart. After nearly half a month of debugging, I found that setting the highest CPU priority for DCS significantly reduces freezing. However, new issues have emerged: Slow or crashed startup: Longer loading times when opening the launcher, entering the game from the launcher, and loading into the main menu. Frequent crashes or freezes during the black screen after launching the game or at 0% progress on the initial loading screen. Severe FPS drops when moving the mouse in-game: Occurs less frequently in windowed mode but happens 100% of the time in fullscreen mode after the latest update. Adjusting CPU priority seems to affect the frequency of this issue. I'm unsure if these problems are related and would appreciate solutions for each. This is the dcs.log file generated when the game crashes after getting stuck at 0% on the loading screen with the highest CPU priority enabled: dcs.log
  8. I enabled the option for the highest CPU priority, and the freezing issue has been significantly alleviated! However, the game's startup speed has slowed down noticeably. Does anyone know the reason behind this? Below is the comparison data; there seems to be a fundamental difference in CPU allocation. The first image shows the scenario when the CPU priority is set to the highest. The second image shows the scenario when the CPU priority is set to default, where the game gets stuck at the black screen loading step during startup or freezes after entering the main menu: and the dcs.log file when it gets stuck on the black screen loading:dcs.log
  9. No, you misunderstood what I meant. What I mean is: When QVFR is turned on, the picture in VR becomes blurrier than when it's off, and this isn't an isolated case. As for DLSS, I've always had a positive attitude towards it. Apart from some motion blur, it hasn't brought me any negative changes. I use a Quest 3. When I was using the 4060Ti 16G, QVFR worked really well. This problem only started to occur some time after I upgraded to the 5070Ti.
  10. My computer has two M.2 drives, and I’ve tried reinstalling (the program) on both, but neither worked well… The problem isn’t here. I recently tried disabling core parking, which did bring noticeable improvements. However, there are still occasional intermittent freezes, and a new issue has cropped up: occasional frame drops when moving the mouse. This can be fixed by restarting the game. (Forums point out that this issue stems from mouse polling rate, but I never had this problem before when using a 1000Hz polling rate.)
  11. The SSW function of VD doesn't work well. It often causes ghosting which leads to dizziness. When piloting rotorcraft such as the Apache, it creates severe "jelly effect" on the areas swept by the rotors as well as the subtitles/HMD display in those areas, making the game unplayable.
  12. Yes, I’ve tried that too. I’ve installed DCS on both of my solid-state drives, but it didn’t improve the issue at the time. From what I’ve found through searching, this beeping sound might occur when the system freezes due to high CPU load
  13. Sorry, it should be a "dodo" sound. My description was incorrect. Anyway, as shown in the following video, once the DCS is about to freeze, it will occasionally get stuck and alarm before freezing. VID_20250724_051735(1).mp4
  14. It would be great if VR could have a universal driver-level frame generation feature like Smooth Motion...
  15. My CPU is 14600KF, which should have considerable headroom. Because before I upgraded my configuration, I was using just a combination of 12400KF + 4060Ti 16GB, but back then QVFR could work normally and deliver excellent performance.
