  1. So, I have narrowed down my choice between the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition and the RTX 2060. The 2060 is only being looked at because my daughter has it and she is going to upgrade and I can buy it from her. I guess what I need to know, is what is really better for DCS World? I have no plans to play any other games. I am building a sim pit. I am too old to play any game that requires a game controller. My arthritis in my hands is really bad and I struggle to type, tiny buttons on a game controller are a no-go. A custom sim pit with full size stick, throttle, peddles and buttons is my only option.
  2. Thanks. I also forgot to mention that I am using a 65in TV for my Sim Pit and it is only 1080P. So, I will not be doing any 1440, 4K or 8K any time soon.
  3. I currently have Lenovo laptop with an i7-10810U and integrated graphics card. As you can imagine, for most tasks, it is fine, but for a game machine, it sucks. DCS stutters and the frame rate is so low that it is not playable. I am looking at building a budget computer with basically outdated higher end parts. I found a used case and motherboard that will accept a 12th or 13th Gen Intel. I am thinking i7-12700K. To keep things reasonable, I have been looking at the GTX1070 and GTX1070ti. My Daughter has a GTX 2060 in her computer and she is looking to upgrade. I may buy that from her so she can afford the one she wants. Anyway, would this combo, with the right amount of memory be a good combo for DCS?
