Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a pretty annoying issue in DCS and wanted to see if anyone else has run into this or knows a possible fix.
During flights (especially at sunrise or sunset) I get green rays or lines that cover the entire screen.
They’re not limited to any specific area—they go across the whole image and completely ruin the visual experience.
They are constantly present during the flight and become more noticeable depending on the lighting and camera angles.
This issue only happens at 2K resolution (2560x1440).
When I switch to 1080p, the problem completely disappears.
My setup:
GPU: AMD RX 7900X
Latest AMD Adrenalin drivers installed
2K monitor, no overclocking
What I’ve already tried (no success):
Verified game files through the DCS launcher
nullDeleted the Saved Games\DCS folder
Tested various graphic settings (MSAA, SSAO, shadows, etc.)
Notes:
This doesn't happen in any other game or sim
Seems to be related to how DCS handles lighting conditions in 2K with this GPU
Has anyone else with an RX 7900x or similar experienced this issue?
Is it a known bug, or is there a specific setting that might help fix it?
Any suggestions or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
