I wrote that last night and then finished reading the Warthog book by William Smallwood (which like others on this thread I highly reccomend) and that suggests the Autopilot was to come a bit later on the A-10A so I guess it is quite realistic.

I recently bought the A-10A by Iris simulation for FSX (if you have FSX anyway), I know it's not quite the same beast but you could use that for ferry flights and then fight the campaign on DCS and fly back. I'm not sure how realistic it is but there is a basic autopilot on that model which means you can at least take a break and leave the sim to fly it. Only problem is you can't air-to air very realistically on FSX.

I have fixed this now, it appears to be a memory issue. I found elsewhere in this forum a fix adding a line in the CMD.exe file which solved the problem. Couldn't report it earlier as I lost my internet access.

I've tried re-installing twice now. The second time I uninstalled I removed the folder created in Program Files as well. I have this error on training, missions and missions within campaigns. I can only fly Instant Action.

Hi, I get the following error message when i try to load the training missions. Am starting the program as an administrator. Can't allocate vertex buffer for 28290 vertices. Node: Lamp_02_First_Lod_base It then tells me the program has stopped working and Windows is looking for a solution and the program restarts. The instant action works
