Just a guick update gents! spent today taking measurements and over 300 pictures of the huey. Its going to take me a few days to consolidate the measurements but the great folks over at Lynx.dx will be creating the free templates for us as well as providing 3d printing services for our huey pits. SUPER STOKED!!!!
Sweeeet !!! Now stuff on the rotorwing side starts to roll :)
Now i only need to find a affordable way to make a working collective :)

Really a shame that these really nice and very expensive project goes out the door.
Would be fun to know what something like this would costif CH or Saitek would manufacture them. They surely can not be as cheap, considering what all their other things cost.
More people starting such project should start a donation fund, so they can afford and desire to continue, and can see if there is a demand and and if people wont to pay for it :(

Looking good !
Try to make smaller and insted more control inputs when you hovering and flying slower. Have you set the curve for the cyclic ? There is some good Youtube clips that helps alot. GL and have fun !

Its really overprice for some software gaghes i most say as well.
Whay dont we support Helios insted if they put a price like that ?
it most be someone out there that can and have the brain to do that for helios?! ? I have no problem paying for Helios if thats the case!
You get so much more from Helios then just gaghes.

Nice to see more Huey pit builders coming in.
The space problem is a problem for many, but we huey builders have it a lote easyer the say the A10 builders, do we "only" have the center and overhead pedestal to our left side, and not both side as a A10, BS :lol:
Build a light center pedestal and you can move it if you dont use it.
If all you're looking to build is switches and knobs, then yes that is easy. However, if you don't need to use axis' then I would get Leo's BB32 rather than the BU0836 card it will save you some money.As a side note... SimPit building is a DRUG! You will only be finished when you stop simming. Good luck and enjoy.
And that was what i was thinking when i orderd the BB32 card, and now im in need of the Card with BU0836 ;)
My problem is the words im "only" going to build ! There is no word "only" in the pit building :pilotfly:

You could even integrate force feedback into the glove so it would feel like your flipping switches, I think the oculus and having some gloves like that is the way to go for future high end Sims since the oculus turns everything 3d not just the cockpit, and having just a force feedback position tracking glove would allow you to feel and interact with any cockpit not just the one you build for your Sim.
Or you build you self a cockpit, then you both see and feel the switches :smilewink::music_whistling:
But having a Brick or a baseball on the hand looks to me that it is killing a good feeling with the OR.
