uncheck 'disable aero interface' has done it Thanks

When I press the Esc key the mission paused box appears but all the options do not work, the only way to exit a mission even if the aircraft has crashed is to press the Ctrl and the Esc which puts the simulation down onto the taskbar, click on it, the options in the mission paused box now turn blue then I can exit the mission.
