  1. I'm having problems getting the model viewer to run in Lomac (All Versions from original install to FC2) Im using 2 different operating systems, I try it on my computer (Running Windows 7 Ultimate) and my server computer (Running Windows XP SP2) and always get the error Renderer Failed to Initialize! I run in everything from compatibility mode to running as administrator, I followed all of the instructions, Its in the main directory, and still doesn't work. I checked the forums and nothings happened like this before.. Anyone have a fix or a solution?
  2. Well is there atleast a way to dynamically control what the AI does, and move their formations?

  4. I've looked all over and suprisingly haven't found anything of the sort. But is it possible to record a track, and then play yourself back as AI in a mission so you can fly with yourself??

  6. Absolutely Amazing. Unfortunately the DCS Engine doesnt support this kind of detail and quality. If you want to make a movie in the future I'm always looking for more modellers for my Operation Red One Movie.
  7. Nah this is my model. But its a Block 52 with modifications (Its been modified for special use with the RSAF)
  8. Alright, thanks a bundle, I've got a bit of work ahead of me, but once it hits time to export I'll just have to go with it and export. Here's my latest screenshot. Keep in mind this is a specialty (Reason will be revealed once its done) so there are a few gauges replaced by different gauges or knobs and switches.

I actually was a modeler for IRIS but I didn't have enough time to work with my schedule - but sadly for me, no, this is a totally different personal project thats showed itself to be extremely time consuming. I'll post some screenshots once I get everything situated in the right spot on the dash. Its a Peace Carvin IV specialty. Okay Thanks! - Does the cockpit need to have several LOD's? And do I need to have a dummy object for every part?

I am currently deep in the stages of modelling an F-16D cockpit, and I was wondering if anyone has had any success exporting their cockpit as a .LOM and replacing the old .CMD cockpits (Such as the F-15C Eagle) If you have, could you just outline the process very basically, and upload a screen-shot of a hierarchy of one of your cockpits so I can reference it?   12. Actually I have heard of someone using the .LOM file format for a cockpit but it had to be shrunk to 1/3 of the length before export.

Hello, I'm starting a very in-depth project with making an F-16 cockpit for the Block 52D F-16 currently in-game (its for a squadron) Modelling is not the part I am worried about (Well besides setting up the units I'm not worried) After I have modeled the cockpit itself, and textured it, I have no clue what I am supposed to do. I cant seem to find any cockpit files within the Lomac FC2 Directory for a reference. Are they in BlackShark? Any information, tutorials, ect that anyone can provide that would help me getting this cockpit out would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sniper1-1 Aka Coyote

Hello Everyone, I was browsing the modding section, and I cant seem to find the tools or tutorials of any sort for exporting static objects into FC2 Ive got 3ds Max 8 but I have no clue where I can find the tools, and exactly what I need to do to successfully export my models from Max and import into FC2... Any Insight?
