  1. Hard not to empathise with u Jcav though probably best not to take it personal, the cancer of big buisness greed and ethical fraud does obviously rule nowadays, and sucks us all into a pit, hopefully you dont resort to smashing it to smithereens before you find a solution like i did with my Mental-Stroke Pro, youll need more than drivers then
  2. Tee hee hee- apparently i still live in the eighties when 50-60 pounds was a fair amount, I checked out TM: Warthog HOTAS - looks a fantastic bit of kit, prices actually vary from GBP 273.00 to 408.65 which seems a big price difference. I take the point about expanding to other flight sims but not sure if virtually emptying my bank account to get one is an option at the mo. Also i would be interested to know; If the TM: Warthog HOTAS is supreme for DCS Warthog is it well supported in other current flight sims? - for example anyone tried it in Apache Air Assault? - and is it so good that it makes peddles redundant? or will i still need a peddle set just to survive more than a minute A quick google trawl for X-52PRO gave me a few misgivings which steered me even more towards the TM: Warthog HOTAS
  3. Was really trying to get idea of what was a 'typical' stick for 'typical' flight gamer, so i could use 'typical' custom stick mappin After spending over an hour trying to re-map it - the 30 quid mental-strike pro is now smashed up in the bin [methinks maybe some deranged factory korean wired it up - I also tried it in Apache Air Assault where the default mental-stike pro mappin was really wierd - throttle up makes pilot look up etc and totally unflyable copter just goes 'tits up' and crashes lol] Dont really want to waste anymore cash on duds, was thinking @ 50-60 quid-ish but would even be prepared to go bit higher for quality item. wasnt really thinking about peddles, wireless might be cool, mainly just wanted something that 'just works' not 'works - just'
  4. Please give stick suggestions:- have windows 7 - 64 bit - Processor Intel 15cpu 661@ 3.33 GHz - 4GB RAM. suckered into buying a Metalstrike pro without seeing it, and now looking for better stick, Lock-on also doesnt seem to recognise it has a throttle, and in any case it is not a comfortable shape to use, would pefer a stick one that that is easily mappable if possible. thanxs Lock-on 2 noob.
