I edited the A-10 Airbase mission to have unlimited weapons. I saved it as a different name. When I start the mission there is now a large red circle labeled NAV in the upper right corner. I can't disable it. Does anyone know what this is and how to disable it? Thanks.

Thanks for the information! I received the platinum edition of Lock On as a gift. It included the original "Modern Air Combat" version. I installed that one first and was able to take control of the aircraft in the training missions (using CTRL+Q). I assumed that you could do the same in Flaming Cliffs 2.

I just installed Flaming Cliffs 2 on my XP box. It is version 1.2.1 (according to the HELP About dialog box). I did not apply any patches (because the latest patch is 1.2.1). I started the first training mission. When it comes time to take control of the aircraft, the instructor says to press the Escape key to take control or exit the mission. I press the Escape key and it unconditionally exits the mission. It does this with every training mission. I did not try to fly any actual missions yet (what's the point if I can't control the aircraft). Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can take control of the aircraft to continue my training?
