  1. Great stuff for beginners. +1
  2. We will have F18 for that, wont we? :music_whistling:
  3. Thanx again for your suggestions. Problem solved. I did not use the correct radio button (LALT + + instead of -) hence the ability to contact JTAC instead of wingman. So rewarding eventually to see wingman employ mavs
  4. Still No luck. With easy com set on, the wingman appears in black so I think I cannot communicate with him. UHF Radio is set to 251. No acknowledge from him. Instead JTAC appears in white and does answer to enquire.
  5. Thanx so muchGAJ52, i'm doing pretty the same as yo until wpt 5 Tanks. I had no luck neither with engage nor with engage with, but could be I missed the wpt set to SPI. Will check this evening again. Now this sounds a lot easier :)
  6. Ok, I'm pretty noob at this, just been flying this awesom simulation for 3 weeks but I'm stuck with first istant action easy mission. My question: is my wingmen supposed to help in any way? No matter how many orders have been issued to them there is no attack done on any target by them. Never. I assume this is a mission where only the active player can kill something, but in this case I really cannot figure out what the difficult mission will look like
  7. It's more the non immersive sound environment I'm talking about. Maybe a real flight recording of landing sounds could improve by its own the ground feeling (not the actual tire whistle but the ensuing trembling of the cockpit frame), maybe coupled with some screen shaking. 3% fuel and empty stock...uhmmm...why would you take off in such a configuration?
  8. I love this game so far, actaully more than a game of course. Learning curve is motivating everytime. Just one thing disappointed me, that is the muffled feeling I got when touching down when landing and when rolling on to take off. To be honest most of the flight sim do not portray well this aspect, but I think that just playing more realistic sound files can greatly enhace the experience. One plane that made it right I think was PMDG 737 in FSX series. You got that trembling and noisy feedback when touching down until speed decreased to 60/70 knots. Now all you get is a brief tire whistle and not much more. I know that a military sim has other crucial points to deal with, nonetheless the feeling of ground contact one gets could be improved increasing the realism of coming back home after completing a mission and landing safely.
