Sorry.. but.. I've downloaded and installed the 1.0.2EN update.. and I'm now being talked to in Russian.. subtitles in English.. Betty sounds different too!! Is there another button I've yet to find? I am enjoying this but.. how come I'm not being shot out of the air by some fighters like a WWII spitfire or something? Any tactical knowledge out there? I feel like I'm flying just the sort of thing needed to put down rebels in their toyota pickups and maybe a few tanks as long as they cant see me and dont have 'track back' laser guided missile defence.. Did (vietnam say) helicopters ever get involved in air battles? Is there the equivalent of a fighter helicopter? Or is it always a bit like in Avatar.. but without the flying 'dragons' ..enough already

Thanks winz.. had a look at that.. but.. you said... I personaly turn them off at start of every mission and only turn them on rarely. Does that mean you can turn them on during a mission?? regards

Thanks for the responses guys.. BeeSting.. thanks but trust me I train! My problem is eyesight and I'm going to stick with Lwin+home for a long while yet.. Weta43.. some sums.. if I'm 1m away from my screen then 5 pixels (1024 res) would 'subtend' about the same arc as a 10m truck which was 5390m away (I think) I think very bright blue is good!! BUT there is an idea.. I think colour coding that changes with distance and conveys type information might be a good idea... isoul... I agree.. and some of this is all meant to be fun.. I also wonder how much this BS 'performance' relies on air superiority. Wouldn't the mirages, harriers, and Maverick and Goose have taken them out. If I remember right IL2's (tank killers) were slaughtered by the 109s at the beginning. Anyway .. thanks for the help.. I'm on it.. by the way how do you make grey.. 128 128 128 ?

I'm working my way through the BS.. and I'm making my own 'blow stuff up' toy training missions.. using the 'real' mode as far as possible. MY problem is I cant find my targets unless I put them on roads and know almost exactly where they are... So I use the labels tick box.. but this is ok to start with.. 'blue dots' dead ahead.. but as you get closer the writing of the desciption/labels(!) becomes a mess.. :( and intrusive.. Is it possible.. 1) To turn the labels off mid 'flight' .. ie once I've seen the blue dots, got the HMS and Shkval on it.. OR 2) any other fix? grateful for any help.. regards..

Last time I tried to update 1.0.2 it told me it couldn't find the game so I just left it alone.... I'll see what happens later.. going to play a bit first.. Thanks again ..regards..

Thanks for the response Panzertard.. I've just checked out an idea (before I read your email) and I noticed that the options controls is empty of every key command.. my stick/pedals have their assignments down their column but otherwise the whole column for the key is empty!.. I 'added' the pause key command and lo.. things began to whir again.. Shall I go ahead with the uninstall move?

I got problems: BS has been running ok for a couple of weeks.. then I changed joystick and .. now everytime I start mission, training, instant action etc I get the pause/break window and there's no response.. its not the joystick.. I changed it back. I have to call up the Windows task manager to get out.. the Trackir works.. the keyboard responds but BS doesnt .. So I look to uninstall and start again.. Windows cant find Uninstall.exe and neither can I which ever route... there's no uninstall file and no entry for the progam if I go the control panel way.. How can I uninstall this? The computer doesnt know it's there.. And.. the putting the disc in and running setup.exe (who knows.. there was an uninstall button on the window) has no effect.. setup.exe just goes round and round..no response) I'm using windows 7 64 bit and the version is the boxed one so I guess its 32 bit? No troubles before.. though when I tried to update to 1.02 windows the exe told me it couldnt find the program!! I know where its coming from!! Any help most welcome... :huh:
