At last!!! After much persistence (and, again, without autopilot, waypoint, or ILSN) I finally manually landed my F-15 well enough to receive my coveted and much appreciated "Mission Complete." ;-)

At last!! Apparently my first manual landing attempt must have sucked because, after much persistence (and , again, without waypoint or ILSN) I finally got a "Mission Complete."

Still no joy after 6-1/2 waypoint #2-to-waypoint #3 CAP cycles (1-1/2 hours). NOTE: It's a good thing I'm using the "Unlimited Fuel" cheat. My wingmwn were "Bingo Fuel" after the second cycle. :-) Awaiting a response from Ven.

Ven, I successfully downed all enemy aircraft and completed 6-1/2 Waypoint #2-to-Waypoint #3 CAP cycles (despite being told to RTB) but I still don't have any other waypoints except #2 and #3, much less an ILSN waypoint for landing. I tried landing manually but got no "Mission Completed" from the game. :-(

According to Ven he spent an additional (albeit unproductive) hour on CAP. Appears my 5-1/2 cycles weren't enough for a mission success. Thanks a bunch, Caponi.

I am unable to complete the FC2 F-15 campaign mission wherein I'm diverted from a CAP by AWACS in order to intercept a flight of bombers (?) and escorts. After I and my 3 wingmen eliminate all aircraft, I get a message from AWACS that all aircraft have been destroyed and that I can now return to base. The trouble is that the only waypoints are #2 and #3 which correspond to the CAP patrol. (As a matter of fact my route terminates at waypoint #3.) After 5-1/2 CAP cycles, I tried landing manually but no joy---I don't get a "Mission Complete."
