thanks for your help, i press ctrl and the up arrow nothing seems to happen do i need to press it in a certain combination?

iam doing a training mission to learn how to use air to air missiles i get to the part where i need to use the hotas tms forward to track the target iam a bit confused how to do that can anyone explain to me how to use these hotas controls thanks.
