  1. the axis adjustment trick absolutely does not work for me. i have tried just about every combination of adjustments i can...and all the weird fixes folks have come up with as well... i am trying a couple of other things...and will decide tonight if i will ever try to fly this game again. "horrible pitch oscillation" - do a google on lomac pitch oscillation... you will find quite a few hits. so to explore the failure to trim... i know how to trim an aircraft - i am a PIT. i understand what you are saying, but letting go of the stick leads the aircraft to bounce opposite, past what should be equilibrium, then back again like a pendulum. it eventually settles but takes too long - 15 seconds or more maybe. if the aircraft is improperly trimmed it will just go in one direction - not bounce back and forth. and trim goes for yaw as well - but that effect is not present in the yaw axis. it is so bad, i can not get a pipper steady on a target even with constant pressure guiding the direction - it just bounces around. the devs have time - Han answered an e-mail I cc'ed him on about the fiasco with Evolved and the #2 cd in the Gold Pack - twice. for a problem that quite a few have experienced, they should spare time. i know, i am responsible to 3rd tier tech support out of my companies engineering organization. everyone is busy these days and has multiple responsibilities. i know what it means to take care of customers...they will keep coming back as customers. blow them off and you don't get repeat business. i guess it depends upon the business model of the company. they have my one shot of cash already - so maybe it is not biggie any more. that remains to be seen.
  2. "any manner of adjustments in the in game calibration" have done that and more, it was in my post you quoted. so far i have spent about 4 full hours of time on this... i am not a newb at this stuff...and have a pretty good idea of things to try. nothing works. i am trying one more things as a test, and if that is a no go... i have spent way too much of my time and won't be flying this game unless the devs give some acknowledgement of the problem (i am not the only one...) and certainly will not buy another of their games. no support from ED huh???
  3. Anyone? Is this hopeless????
  4. that does not seem to affect anything in a bad way, but it also does not help to remove the horrible pitch oscillation that many folks encounter (me being one of them). apparently this can not be fixed as the devs have not even bothered to reply: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=10356 hopefully you are not having that issue.
  5. I have tested another joystick and have the same problem. Anything? Devs?
  6. I would like more on this as well... I have a SWF22 with TQS and Elite rudder pedals. I have horrible pitch oscillation... NO other game has this issue....only Lock On. I have tried the many bogus fixes I could find, including the set FF off and increasing the 400 to 1000 for joyrange, and any manner of adjustments in the in game calibration. My joystick is fine - it works in all the other flight sims I play. This is very frustrating, I can not even keep the pipper on the target with an A10 - ridiculous. At this point I wish I would not have wasted the money...especially with the disk 2 fiasco from Evolved. Anyone able to give me a fix to change my mind?
