  1. That makes sense. I have 64 bit asus laptop so will just use it outside of steam. Does make it more easy to alter files etc if I need to apply updates down the road. Thanks again for all your help. Even if steam was a better option I would rather give all the money straight to the DCS team for making what seems to be a great sim. The Flight Sim community needs all the support it can get.
  2. Awesome! Thank you so much! I will wait for this to finish downloading and will then purchase the file from the website. Is there any disadvantage to not using steam by chance? or can I still use steam with the website download? :pilotfly: Cool Smiley hehe
  3. Hi Everyone! I have finally made the decision to purchase DCS A-10 and I'm really excited to lift of. I currently have the bit download from the DCS website running but have a question. I have not purchased the game yet, I'm actually confused as to why and I can begin the download without a purchase. I plan to buy it on their website tonight so when I do will it simpley email me a key to put in my already downloading DCS A10 folders? If I have to re-download after I purchase I will most likely just buy it on steam but I figured the bit file would be a lot faster. Thanks so much for any help and I'm open to any suggestions. Look forward to flying with you all, thanks again. Flyboy3771
