  1. Sorry if I came across as an angry little dude, but I was mainly annoyed with the lack of responces. That was my main upset. You must understand my position. Most of my money goes towards real flight training, mostly study materials needed to pass the written test. Also money goes into savings to pay for a car and future schooling. Being 15, my opportunity for work is limited. Real flight has a higher priority than simulation, and nothing is cheep about flying. Don't get me wrong, I puchased this program with full intentions on using it, but $60 was a stretch. You can pretty much rent a 182 with that much money. I had heard only good things about this program and figured it would be worth the money. It was certainly worth it, but I was just hoping that I would be able to make due with a mouse control and keyboard shortcuts. If this is not possible (which has been made clear it's not possible) then I will just have to find a joystick. I was just hoping there would be an alternative route. No foul intentions.
  2. I'm from Southern California. Where are you?
  3. One main reason. It costs money for a joystick. Frankly, $60 for the game was enough. Is there anything thats good/cheep out there?
  4. Thanks for the responces. I've sent out a problem ticket, this forum post, and two E-mails. That was the biggest problem I've had so far; getting responces. I understood before purchasing the program that flying with the mouse control would be tricky, but I would make due. The keyboard I really only use for the rudder, and, although I've tried using the keyboard to fly the aircraft and could never get a smooth rotation on take-off, and always ended up scraping the tail of the aircraft on the pavement. Mainly my question was is there a way to fly the aircraft using the mouse. If this is not possible, then I'll look for alternative ways. Trying to stay away from buying an accessory, but if that is my only option, then I guess I don't have very much choice, other than to dump the program completely after spending good money on it.
  5. This is the worst tech support I have ever gotten to this point with anything. If a staff member cannot provide any responce at all, I am forced to request a refund for this product that has been sitting on my desktop for 4 weeks now doing nothing but taking up memory.
  6. I just got DCS: A-10 and had been used to playing Microsoft's Flight Simulator X. Naturally, I'm trying to get the controls to match as much as possible. I was wondering if there is any way to use the mouse to control the primary flight controls (excluding rudder) and mouse wheel to control the throttles as it is in FSX. This probally a really simple fix that is hiding in plain sight, but it's keeping me from flying right now. I've got alot of time going over the systems though...
