  1. I don't have the Gold version, I have the original Lock On and Flaming Cliffs 1 on disk. I tried all the steps above and Windows 7 is giving a "starforce" compatability error. I upgraded the starforce driver then the program asks for an activation code.
  2. I uninstalled and reinstalled Flaming Cliffs. I patched Flaming Cliffs and updated the starforce driver. Each time I try to run Flaming Cliffs the starforce activation windows pops up. Starforce generates a different product code each time I run it but will also say invalid code when I press the activate button. Why am I going through this with software that I have bought and paid for? Do I need to purchase Flaming Cliffs 2 just to get an activation so that Lock On and Flaming Cliffs will work?
  3. I have Lock On v1.0 on a disk and Flaming Cliffs 1.1 on another disk. Starforce used disk check in Windows XP. After upgrading to Windows 7, the program would not load stating starforce driver incompatibility issues. I upgraded the starforce driver but now I have to produce a product serial number and activation code to start the program. Do I have to buy Flaming Cliffs 2 just to get my software activated?
  4. I have the cd version of Lock On and Flaming Cliffs v1. They worked fine in XP but now in windows 7 after upgrading starforce drivers it is asking for the following: Hardware serial number and activation code. The starforce program appears to generate a hardware code each time I run it but no activation code. How do you get an activation code for the cd version of the product that never had one?
