  1. I am new here just got DCS: A-10C the other day. I am still going through the tutorials and barely starting the combat ones. When doing the landing tutorial I thought how nice it would be to actually speak for the radio menu options. So I started looking at voice recognition software. So I just thought I would share what I found with everyone. The one I am using now is Shoot 1.6.4 it works with windows 7 64 bit (if you get the new .config file from the forums here) and it is free. You have to make your profiles with notepad and save it as a .xml file. Not too hard to do. It does have limitations. Like it seems to only recognize the left shift, control and alt keys and does not recognize the windows key. But overall it works good. I also found many other software packages people might be interested in. The programs I have found and their approximate prices are listed below. FREE - Shoot 1.6.4 FREE - Killers VoiceCommand $10 - VR COMMANDER $18 - DWVAC - this one looks the best to me. $30 - SAY2PLAY - seems a bit over priced, and the interface is a bit awkward to use. Anyways I hope any other newcomers like me will find this useful.
