  1. The idea- My goal is to create a glass cockpit by displaying a clickable 3D cockpit (instead of 2D like the snap views) on a secondary monitor. This would add dynamic shadows and lighting to the instrument panel for a more realistic feel, as well as dealing away with the tedious setup of a Helios overlay for clickability. The approach- I would like to use cameras like the ones used to generate the image in the mirrors in the A-10C cockpit. By creating static "mirror" cameras that are aimed at various instruments in the cockpit (MFCD, CDU, etc), it would be possible to then display that image on a secondary display by creating a viewport in the DCS .lua files. Questions- A brief search of the contents of the DCS A-10C .lua files revealed several references to the mirrors, including one in which the coordinates of the mirrors' positions are defined (only one set of coordinates actually, as it seems to be one camera with three viewports). So... Is it possible, through creative scripting, to create more "mirror" cameras? Would the images produced by the new cameras be clickable (clickable MFCD buttons, for instance)? Is there an easier way to do this? Thanks for reading!
