With regard to aviation: Soviet airplanes - favourite MiG-25
  1. +1 Mig-25PD
  2. Don't forget the A-1 Skyraider.
  3. From the list: 1st MiG-25 (PD) 2nd MiG-23 (ML(D)) 3rd Su-22 Other planes I would love to see (also as AI): Su-15 Yak-28 (Brewer/Firebar) Tu-95 Tu-16 Myasishchev M-4 (3M) Tu-22 Tu-22M Tu-22M3
  4. Hello, lately, when I manually start up my MiG-21, the ailerons do not react anymore. When I initiate the automatic start-up ailerons do work. Does anyone have the same problem or knows the solution? Thank you!
  5. Thank you! I will take a look at the lights tonight!
  6. Hello fellow MiG-21 enthusiasts, I am often flying the MiG-21 on simple training missions with ramp start, take-off, landing, refueling, take-off again etc. without repairing in-between. Sometimes when I take-off again, the landing gear, or parts of it, won't retract, because the previous landing was too rough. Visually everything seems to be okay - the landing gear is not bent or deformed. I don't want to repair the plane every time, as I feel it would be a bit of “cheating” and of course I want to be able to land properly without damaging something. Is there a way of knowing if the plane has taken damage respectively whether the plane needs repair before taking-off again? I was thinking of something like a damage report, which would also show you that you did a good job with the last landing?
  7. Another addition to my wishlist: Su-15 Flagon Plus the already mentioned MiG-25PD+Yak-28 Firebar.
  8. I would also like to see the Yak-28 Brewer or Firebar.
  9. MiG-25PD. It's my favourite plane.
  10. I would like to see a European scenario from the cold war e.g. an areal with both East and West Germany or Russia and Norway/Finland.
  11. I just watched the Mig-21 RSBN tutorial and I really liked it a lot. Thank you very much! I have one question: is there a way to automatically maintain altitude in the Mig-21? There is one part in the video before you do the cloud penetration approach at 24:02 where you say that you switch off the autopilot. The variometer before was very stable and I was wondering whether you merely trimmed the airplane to maintain altitude or whether you did this with some automated function? If yes, how is this done?
  12. Hi everyone, I bought Lock on Platinum and installed Lock On and Flaming Cliffs 2 on my computer. Furthermore I installed Modman 7.3.0 and the Mig-21bis by beczl. So far everything has worked out and I'm really enjoying my time practicing basic manoeuvres. There is one thing though I'm not sure about: When I turn on the afterburner of the Su-27 respectively the Mig-29, I can't see it's flame cone as I was used to in Lock or how it can be observed with the Mig-21. The engines open and the interior colour changes but no flame emits. Does anybody know what this is about? Can it be fixed somehow? Can you see the flame cone on your computers? I'd be grateful for any help, because without the afterburner flame it somehow feels incomplete. Thanx, David
