Hello fellow MiG-21 enthusiasts,
I am often flying the MiG-21 on simple training missions with ramp start, take-off, landing, refueling, take-off again etc. without repairing in-between.
Sometimes when I take-off again, the landing gear, or parts of it, won't retract, because the previous landing was too rough. Visually everything seems to be okay - the landing gear is not bent or deformed.
I don't want to repair the plane every time, as I feel it would be a bit of “cheating” and of course I want to be able to land properly without damaging something.
Is there a way of knowing if the plane has taken damage respectively whether the plane needs repair before taking-off again? I was thinking of something like a damage report, which would also show you that you did a good job with the last landing?
