  1. Devs, When will this be addressed? I hate to be of a bother, but this thing just sits there waiting to be addressed. It's a bugger you know.. Looking forward to your prompt response. Kind regards, Nighthawk
  2. I say: Issue#1: Airfield damage should have rules similar to early warning radar. (EDIT: once killed it ceases operation; server-based) Issue#2: The decals lifetime should be limited/configurable. Doesn't seem like a 1000manhour task to me... @GGTharos: Your opinion on what makes this impossible? Regards Wretch
  3. I second that! There must be improvements made to the objects state in the world, to make them server dependent, not client-dependent. That goes to the issue described by shaman above. Also the issue with the damage-effects lifetime should be addressed. I quit using the gunpods in the Su-25 because of the HUGE fps drop caused by zillions of holes left in the ground. The holes that I don't see from above, but they're there, killing my fps. 2 passes on the column and I can only wish the 3rd pass to be smooth. Regards Wretch
  4. I'm attaching my dxdiag here... hope it helps with patching or whatever, because at present I'm simply disgusted by the lockups.. Those bugs do take away the pleasure and totally spoil my game experience. Take care of them. DxDiag.txt
  5. Which driver? the SBLive! driver or SB X-Fi driver? And it happened when i was using my onboard sound only, prior to x-fi purchase... so I guess thats not the issue either... What really buggers me is NOT knowing the cause  :icon_hang
  6. I own a SB X-Fi card and am experiencing just the same thing, so its not the SB-Live! problem, people... it happened once or twice that the game did UNFREEZE after a few seconds, but 99% of the time it just remains frozen and i can hear things happening (with a usual crash ending everything)), its just that the video is like 2 frames violently fighting to show themselves.. as if the screen kept dividing into multiple fragments showing 1st frame, then the 2nd one then the 1st one and so on... (oh and BTW: I dont get to see the task mgr, just the windows cursor) My opinion: its the LockOn issue, not my HW issue. Regards Wretch
  7. Sure, will do :) As for now its just for the A10, others will follow shortly... editing file: snapviews.lua find the following line and enter this value: Snap[7][13]["vAngle"] = -7 Regards, Wretch
  8. No, it's there :) Thanks GOYA! Cheers, Wretch
  9. Thanks for a prompt reply, but... The thread you linked me to is about FOV angles, not default centerview position... ...right? Kind regards, Wretch
  10. Greetings, Is there any way to change the position of the "center" that the "center view" (keypad5) key gets you to? I use an X52 with slider zoom and when I want to take a good look through the hud, I center the view, zoom in and the view is a bit too low. It cuts my upper portion of the HUD and I have to move the view up again. Can anyone help me with this matter? @ X52 users using slider for zooming: do you find the slider to be not so precise as youd want? i.e. zooming to, say, 80% gets your view switching fast between 79% and 81%... any way to overcome this? Thank you in advance for any words of advice. Regards, Wretch
