Windows 7 all latest patches, 64bit, only USB devices are my keyboard (saitek eclipse) and mouse (razer somethingoranother).
2x ATI 6870 in crossfire, set to display to a single screen only, all settings in game on low. Using radeon pro to disable catalyst AI (seems to be disabled as far as I can tell, but it doesn't actually get into the game).
Xonar D2 audio, latest patches for it as well (I believe). DX9c fully up to date, C++ VS checked as well.
Launcher loads, hit quick start, and the splash screen loads, and then it dies. Nothing in application logs in windows (where should I be looking? - don't see anything obvious in there at all). Never make it to the actual loading bar for the game.
System is an I7-2600K with 16GB of ram on a MSI board.
Steam version of the game, doesn't seem to be creating a saved games folder to put a crash dump in.
