To answer your question - yes. We confirmed this in an announcement last month that pre-orders would start to dispatch now. Pre-orders were offered for the users who asked us many times to provide it. Unfortunately due to restrictions imposed by the payment gateway, we could not accept pre-order payments via the usual methods. However we still wanted to offer the option for those who wanted it, so we we were left with bank transfer payments being the only option for pre-orders. Orders (including pre-orders) can also be cancelled/refunded at any time before dispatch, no questions asked. However for anyone who didn't want to pre-order, we still offer the usual methods for standard orders. :thumbup: Nope - PayPal and card payment methods are still active and available on our webstore :smilewink:

Hi backstab. Thanks for taking the time to write some reviews! We are certainly not filtering reviews. When a review is submitted it goes into "pending" on our webstore, this is because we allow anonymous/guest users to submit reviews. The moderation process is a measure to prevent spam and "distasteful content" from ending up on the store. Your reviews were in fact posted as a guest account. Also - your reviews were posted on 17th March and 19th March, not 5 days ago. I personally manage the webstore, as well as handling all non-Russian support cases and community engagement among other business related tasks - your reviews are the only reviews waiting to publish, I just haven't had a chance to get to it yet, especially with the opening of our pre-orders. It's taken a lower priority to addressing active customer support cases. Due to the low number of reviews submitted to the site, I typically only check them once at the start of each month or so - the last review submitted before yours was March 2nd, and the one before that was February 11th and none in January. Your review would have gone up around the start of April. We allow guests to post reviews to make it as easy as possible to submit your thoughts as we want to encourage reviews. However, I'm happy to look into swapping it over to members only with no moderation process. Regarding your the reviews you placed on our site, they will be up shortly. Though I won't publish your "fake" 5-star review. Yes we certainly understand that not every will want to do this - it's a compromise that has been made to try to accommodate those that have requested it from us. However, as previously mentioned, the pre-orders are only running for a limited time. After the pre-orders have closed you will be able to order from available stock using the usual payment methods :thumbup:

Our previous pre-orders were with a different gateway (based in Russia) which unfortunately caused a huge number of issues accepting payments from people around the world. Also our announcement which mentioned that pre-orders will be opening links to our payment information page which confirms the payment restrictions on pre-orders :thumbup:

Hey guys! So to clarify, some of you may know that we haven't offered pre-orders for a number of reasons - available payment methods for accepting pre-orders is one of those reasons. Unfortunately our hands our tied regarding the payment methods available, however even in light of that we were still requested many times to accept pre-orders. In our attempt to satisfy as much of the community as possible we're currently running a limited pre-order for all VPC products. Those who want to pre-order can do so, and those who don't can simply order in the future as usual when the pre-order period closes (and pre-orders are fulfilled). When the pre-order period closes, it will be once again possible to order from available stock with the usual payment methods. We're trying whatever we can when we get requests from the community!

Not planned at this time! However, nothing is stopping you from going ahead with the VPC WarBRD base! Curved extensions currently aren't in the plan at this time. There's no further news regarding future products at this time, but we'll keep everyone posted! :thumbup:

The VPC WarBRD base will remain in production. Each base is targeting a different kind of setup and one isn't necessarily a replacement for the other. At the most basic level: The VPC WarBRD base is designed for desktop or mounted use without extensions. Features a large 22 degree from center deflection angle and includes 2 spring weights and 2 cam types. The VPC MongoosT-50CM base is designed specifically for mounted use, ideally with extensions. Features a narrower 16 degree from center deflection angle so that the total arc length remains practical even when using long extensions. It includes 3 spring weights and 4 cam types and features axis pre-tension adjustment. Whether or not the VPC MongoosT-50CM base is better for you depends on what sort of setup you're wanting to put together!

Thanks!! Really, the VPC MongoosT-50(CM) Base needs to be mounted via the mounting points on the rear side as this connects directly to the gimbal. Due to the intended use with heavy springs and long extensions, the underside screws (which simply screw into the outer housing) would not be able to handle that level of load. If you want a base to mount on the underside, check out the VPC WarBRD base! The old desk mounts should still be fine with the new MongoosT-50CM base, the extra clearance from the new desk mounts give some added comfort!

The VPC MongoosT-50 Base was our first flightstick base announced in December 2016, it targeted the professional flightsim pilot offering a wide range of adjustments including independently swappable cams, springs and adjustable axis pre-tensioners. With a 15 degree deflection angle from the center, the VPC MongoosT-50 Base provided an excellent experience with extreme levels of accuracy when combined with extensions and center-mounted using our VPC Desk Mounts - forming the VPCockpit, or in a custom cockpit mount. In less than a year and a half, thousands of VIRPILs became proud owners of the VPC MongoosT-50 Base including representatives of the best aerobatic teams and combat squads. We received an incredible amount of feedback regarding the design, electronics and operation of the base from the community which we are very grateful for! Today, it is with extreme excitement that the VIRPIL Controls team presents to you the much requested, and long awaited successor to our hugely popular VPC MongoosT-50 Base unit! Meet the VPC MongoosT-50CM Base! After carefully reviewing all the feedback we received previously regarding the VPC MongoosT-50 Base, the entire mechanism has been beautifully redesigned from the ground up while still maintaining the focus on use in mounted setups with extensions. Axis deflection from center has been increased to 16 degrees. This slightly increases the total arc length for finer control and precision, while still maintaining suitability and practicality when using 50mm-150mm VPC Flightstick Extensions. There is a light oil applied to some metal components to protect them from corrosion during transit (as transport conditions can be less than favourable at times). However there is no need to reapply anything once you've got it all set up at home :)

Hello VIRPILs! We are pleased to announce our next addition to the VIRPIL Controls grip lineup - the VPC MongoosT-50 CM2! In the almost 2 years of production, our VPC MongoosT-50 grip has gained incredibly popularity amongst atmospheric flight and space flight sim pilots! Over this time we’ve received a number of comments on changes people wanted to see on this grip design. We have listened to the feedback and have made some adjustments to create this new evolution on the MongoosT-50 grip based off our most popular variant, the MongoosT-50 CM: The most notable change has been that the thumb button has now been replaced with a 4-way + push hat. The face hats have been replaced with 2 x 4-way + push hats, and 1 x 8-way + push hats. The index hat has also been upgraded to include a push function on the 2-way hat. The flip trigger has also been modified to include a non-tactile sensor to register a button input when it is in the “up” position. The triggers are now manufactured with an enhanced polyamide material to increase their durability. All hats found on the MongoosT-50 CM2 grip are now high quality ALPs units for increased control and durability. The number of bindable buttons from the original grip has increased from 23 to 35* allowing for greater versatility no matter what aircraft you fly! The complete control set includes: 1 x Dual-stage trigger 1 x Flip trigger (1 x tactile button in the down position and 1 x non-tactile button for up position) 4 x Momentary buttons 3 x 4-way + push hat 1 x 8-way + push hat 1 x 2-way + push hat 1 x Brake lever (analogue axis) * Note: The increased button count will not be detected by the TMW base.
