Does the game run smoothly on your computer set up? I can shoot my gun at the water and after several seconds plumes will appear in the water. These plumes last for about 3 to 4 seconds. I am just hoping it is because of my computer and the game runs realistically with the proper set-up.

I bought DCS Blackshark and was really impressed with the interactive enviroment, but I was never a big helicopter fan. When I saw that they came out with the A-10C and read the reviews I thought it looked like something I could spend a lot of enjoyable time learning about. I bought A-10C and have been having problems. My computer is 5 years old with the 32 bit Windows OS. My graphics cards are NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTs. I am only getting about 25-30 fps during gameplay. Sometimes the game is choppy and really unplayable. My question is this. Does this game play smooth and realistic on a newer computer? I would be willing to buy a new system to play a really good sim. Thanks for your time.
