    Mhhhhhhh, kann mir evtl. jemand sagen, warum ich das Modul bei mir nicht installieren kann? Ich sehe das Modul nicht mal in meiner Übersicht. 🙁

    Ich habe DCS Version 2.7.10.19473, die gem. Update-Prüfer aktuell sein soll. Auf der AH64-Produktseite steht aber, dass man 2.7.11 or above benötigt.

    Gekauft habe ich den Apache direkt nach Erscheinen am 08.10.

    EDIT: Ich muss wohl die DCS Open Beta installieren. Mal sehen, ob es dann funktioniert.

    Got my Rift today and I had exactly the same issue. “DCS.exe is taking a while to load.“ I run an Intel 3750K @ 4,3Ghz and GTX980. Already wanted to throw the rift out of the window, but after a few restarts its suddenly working.

    So when did you guys order your Rifts?

     

    I ordered mine two months ago (April 11th) and the estimated shipping date is still TBD. Wonder if that is normal?!

    I ordered on Feb, 3rd. Received “shipping soon“ mail yesterday.

    Estimated shipping date (updated shipping date after the delay notification, that hit most buyers) was sent at Apr, 12th.

    How long did it take from the Oculus E-mail "Your Oculus Rift Order is Shipping Soon!" til actual shipping?

    Because i received that mail yesterday and asking myself it this could be true. If "soon" means within a fourtnight, that would be 6-7 weeks prior the initially announced shipping date.

    Für alle aus dem Nordwesten/Westen sind am kommenden Freitag/Samstag auch die niederländischen Luchtmachtdagen in Leeuwarden zu empfehlen. Gutes Programm dieses Jahr u.a. mit Patrouille de Suisse, Patrouille de France, Turkish Stars, Solodisplays Mig 29 aus der Slowakei, F35 aus NL/USA, Eurofighter Spanien, F16 aus NL, Hind und Apache. Außerdem haben die auch immer ne coole dynamische Show mit sehr viel Pyrotechnik.

    Ich werde auch ein paar Bilder schießen.

    One issue I'm having at the moment though is that sometimes the view will just start randomly start changing---and for this there is no cure (no Num 5 will stop it) I have to completely reboot the computer and start over. Once it starts happening it also happens in the Oculus home page---so maybe its an Oculus and sensor issue.

    Maybe you have some trouble with light from the sides or from behind? I notice this with my TrackIR and have to dim the lights during use.

    But i have no idea if this could be an issue for the Rift.

    Had the same problem - a new control device was added which automatically was bound to the default axis - just delete the axis category for the device and you are good to go

    As my rift was postponed, too, I ordered a cardboard which I use with moonlight. But my TM Warthog throttle is not working properly with this configuaration. It stays at about 20% thrust or bounces for seconds to full throttle. Of course I tried different USB ports.

    Anyone experiencing this also?

    Moin, ich möchte jetzt kein neues OR Thema öffnen. Wer bisher noch nie die DK1 oder DK2 testen konnte und zufällig aus Berlin kommt oder mal in Berlin ist: bis Mai ist auf dem Washingtonplatz (Hbf) noch eine Mexico Ausstellung. Dort haben die verschiedene Programme und Filme, wo man sich Mexikanische Sehenswürdigkeiten im Vorbeiflug mit der DK2 ansehen kann. Eintritt frei.

    Thanks, yes cpu is under heavy load in all applications. Maybe its my new samsung ssd. I used the samsung migration tool to move my operation system. Guess something went wrong there.

    Will try it woth a clean setup.

    Have fun with your soon delivered vives.

    Did any of you do a SteamVR test with an i3570K ? My graphics card is a GTX 980 but the the test result shows 97% below 90fps. I guess that processor must be somehow damaged, as the result is rediculously low.

    who knows that the computer specs he had while running vive with DCS.

     

    In his first video regarding the Vive he shows the setup process.

    During that you can see that his pc is equipped with two 980ti running in SLI mode.

    One thing I did notice he didn't say anything about was, nor did I see any noticeable evidence of, was stuttering or low FPS drops, which is a concern in general for DCS ...

     

    Maybe thats because he uses a GTX 980ti SLI system.

    I canceled my rift pre-order today and got a vive pre order instead.

     

    I figure this is my one Big purchase of the year, so I'll opt for the unit that is more feature rich at release. Also helps that I don't have to sign up for yet another digital store front and can stick with my steam library.

    But are you 100% sure DCS will work with the Vive? For me it seems as if the Vive is pretty much tied to Steam Games (wich is bad for DCS standalone users - and this concern holds me back from cancelling my Rift-order) whereas Rift is open to all games and has additionally Rift-only games.

    I would like to thank Jateu for the parts he sent me (for free! :thumbup:).

     

    Awesome guys like him make this community so great.

     

    Find attached some pics of installed slew mod. Works quite good, no centering issues here.

    But as already mentioned, it is not that stable, because the resistance of the original sensor is still the same, of course.

    But nevertheless, one still has a significantly better control than with the original slew button.

    A one to one conversion from Dollar to Euro i would have accepted.

     

    But its not only a one to one conversion (which alone would be an insolence). Its a 100 € on top.

     

    At the current exchange rate that alone is more than 750 USD! Plus shipping and taxes?

     

    I'll definately wait for the VIVE, even if it costs 1000€.

     

    Glad I never tried a VR yet and have no idea of the immersion that I miss.
