Bug description:
Periodically while playing, the game locks up. Sometimes the screen goes black as well. Before the game is able to be played again, a Windows notification pops up saying that "the Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered." The game does not crash to desktop, but this event can occur multiple times during gameplay.
Steps to reproduce / Conditions of occurrence:
The fastest/easiest way to reproduce this bug is to go to an external view, zoom all the way out, and move the mouse around rapidly to force the game to draw things very quickly. It can occur while simply flying. In addition, my display driver has locked up multiple times while I was Alt-Tabbed out writing this report (KA-50 idling on FARP).
PC Configuration:
Intel Core I5, 8gb RAM, Radeon HD 7950 3gb (8.921.2-120119a-132101E-ATI)
Corsair 520W Power Supply
Windows 7 64-bit

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Remove all traces of old drivers, then reinstall graphics driver
Reinstall game
Move one of the card power supply connectors to a different 12V rail
Increase card fan speed to 100%
Reinstall Windows
Change in bug:
When all settings set to low, the graphics driver keeps responding, but DCS.exe crashes.
