I've got lock on Gold which has a DRM that is extremely odious. IIRC to get flaming cliffs 3 you've got to have lock on and no way am I going to install that with the almost criminal DRM that is installed with it.

Is there a way to set a non-linear sensitivity curve for a Joystick in DCS? The default seems to be linear and is way too sensitive up front. Just the most minimum movement will throw the P-51, A10-C and SU-25 into a 30 to 45 degree bank. Annoying. It's a doable challenge when just joyriding :pilotfly: but in a mission when things happen fast it is a real problem for me - one I've fixed using S curve sensitivity settings in other flight sims I own. I've got a TM TFlight HotasX stick. Can it be done?

Thanks for the help guys. Wasn't log files, don't really know what the issue was but it wouldn't update from within windows. However, it updated just fine from the command prompt using the excellent instructions provided by tothesky. And it seems from the command prompt I'm getting a 2.1Mbs download speed instead of the piddlin 240 kbs I was getting using the windows icon when it did work from there. Again - Much thanks.

Thanks... I'm going to give that a try. Right now I'm leaning towards the problem being with the update log files being messed up as I canceled out of the update in the middle (I've got a 50MBs connection and dl'ng stuff at 240kbs is annoying as hell - but that's all I got out of the ed server). Hopefully the command prompt use of dcs_updater will ignore that issue.

You can temporarily disable MWB but only partially. It won't flag new stuff but if something is already on a list as being evil (and just about ever .ru site is) then tough. It won't let you in. Malware Bytes has saved my bacon on a number of occassions. My wife tends to ignore it and hit exclude. My PC is clean. Hers is trash. So I am not going to disable it.

Can't update to vs 1.2.8 because Malware Bytes has flagged the site from which it downloads as a malicious site. Like a dummy I just clicked thru instead of hitting the exclude button. Now even after entering all the sites hit in the protection log as excludes it still won't let me update. I dl'd 1.2.8 froim the main site. Ran the execute and it told me I already had 1.27 and it couldn't update as that would eliminate installed modules. Can't find an update link on the eagle site. At a loss. Any ideas what to do?

In the DCS World User's Manual there are multiple references to creating scripts and LUA files with scripts but no references to the scripting language used. Where would one find a reference to the scripting language refered to in the mission editor docs?

See subject. Lost training missions. I dl'd the training missions for BS2 and ran the setup file. Says can't find BS2 but the BS2 module is in the right place along with the A-10C and SU-25 modules. I can run BS2 just fine. DCS recognizes the update to BS2. How do I go about getting the training missions/videos back? Thanks for any help.
