Triple Monitor - shift view to the left?
Ride replied to Ride's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks. I had read a fair few of the multi monitor threads and came across a couple of mentions that negative values don't work, they were old threads so I was hoping something had changed but I guess not. I'm returning after a couple of years where I was using softth to do what I wanted before. Thanks for the dedicated multi monitor section though, it's well hidden, il have a read through that also. -
Hi, Is it possible to setup triple monitors (without surround) while have my centre monitor as primary in Windows? I tried to set it up last night but the sim boots up with the UI on my right side monitor then once a mission is loaded my centre monitor shows what i would like to see on my left side monitor and my right side monitor shows about a third of what I would like on my centre monitor and the rest as black screen. Is there a line in a config file i can use to shift everything to the left? Thanks.

where is the repair exe? I have run repair from the update utility but not from the original DCS repair file itself. -

yeah in skate zillas update utility I clicked the Nevada terrain thinking that maybe I had no terrain installed at all (due the message about no theatres being installed) and thought that the Nevada icon was an icon for terrain in general. That was the last thing I had tried after everything else. -

autoupdate log attached. Yep I have checked that I am logged in, I have logged in and out a few times but it hasn't helped. if it is easier Im happy to just do a clean install unless you want to look into it further for your own info then im also happy to keep trying things. autoupdate_log.txt -

had already tried that, just did it again incase but still no joy. Not sure if this is normal but I get a message pop up on the menu screen that says "Seems that you do not have any theatres installed. please, check available on our store" I have also tried using the DCS Updater utility by Skate Zilla to update modules and repair but that hasn't helped either. -
Nevermind, figured it out, I was 1 pixel out on my vertical calculations

Hey guys, I have just setup my 3 monitors with softTH but I am little stuck on the final step. My center monitor is 28" and my left and right monitors are 21.5". At the moment everything is aligned along the top edge of the center monitor but I need it to be aligned along the bottom edge. The virtual pixel distance I need to move my outside monitors down by is 220. Which values do I need to change to make this work? My softTH config is below. Thanks.

Multi monitor, same resolution, different size

Thanks, how did you come up with 1474x829? -
Hi, I am trying to setup 3 monitors using SoftTH, I have edited the .lua etc and have it working but the problem is this: My 3 monitors all have a resolution of 1920x1080, my center monitor is 28" but the 2 either side are only 21.5" (all in landscape at the moment but once I get monitor stands I will put the left and right in portrait). The left and right monitors show a smaller picture and so they don't line up with the center monitor. Is there a way to adjust the size of the left and right monitors to match the center monitor so that everything lines up? Thanks!
